I acquire a lot of interesting glass, hazard of looking for bong glass at the getting places (thrift stores). I use a lot of miscellaneous glass pieces and parts. I put this together in June it is 32 inches high and has 15 individual pieces enjoy Peace

Loom number 6

So Kids, my beautiful bride and I have more than one less than a hundred weaving looms in our house. I acquired a sold walnut medieval style standing rug/tapestry loom. The loom came unassembled without any instructions, assembly was not terrible hard. I warped that bad boy up and stripped some tie dye, making a rag rug.

Stuff goes home

I create, I create a lot of things, some in series, some as one off’s, some as utility some as beauty. the truth is all of these pieces are my children, the art pieces are especially close to me based on the amount of time I used to produce each piece. I was conflicted at the first market I attended as a vender my children could and did go to new homes. I forget that art pieces I have created (now in the hundreds of pieces) all live in someone’s house someplace. The pieces have lives of their own beyond me, maybe to reappear years latter at a market for sale, some one new can curate the piece and feel the love, I am ecstatic Peace

The wizard stick

So, last year I created the Wizard Stick. Now mind you I have the “original” Wizard Stick which was the inspiration for this collection of your own personalized art pieces. My Wizard Stick has my “stuff” and “My Magic” hanging all over it it is my story, it is mine and it is me. I took the concept to another place, not everyone has the ability to produce a Wizard stick and I realized some people might want to add their personal “stuff” to a stick of their own. This is the birth of the Starter Wizard Stick. I have place remnants of old disassembled art pieces and lots of attachment points to these sticks so you can add your own story.

I created a short narrative that I tell people that look interested in the concept. I have used this narrative at every market, people have started to come back in the next month and acquire their own personal Wizard Stick based on the narrative.

Yesterday a mother and her child approached looking interested, turns out the child had seen and heard me at the previous market and wanted a Wizard Stick. Mom stated child had a ton of trinkets to hang on the stick, the look in this child’s eyes was magic, this child of about 10 years of age gets it. This child will remember me I guarantee it, I have touched people, I will continue to touch people, This why I do this for my people. Peace

I don’t usually deal with canvases, I have several and will be dealing with them. Presently I have a 24X24 I’m anointing. I like doing different things, I take chances, I stretch my abilities, I do what captures my whim. I love setting sail for uncharted places with exotic people.

knitting needles

I create things out of other things, the sum of the new thing generally out performs the individual parts or pieces. I have a “source” for knitting needles. Now mind you in the last 2 weeks I have burned through over 30 knitting needles. I will use a lot of these wonderful aluminum wonders. I just thought of another use for the knitting needle ruminates, pictures to follow. more needles

Well I had a need, an idea, and I executed on it. I created a new type of hand held bubbler pipe using repurposed perfume bottles, knitting needles and a washer. Simple is best, this creation is of course Old hippy tested and Old hippy approved. great little bubbler, uber easy clean up another FRAZZERRATT creation how they are made

Well kids, I am still working on my reproposed tool box conversion to a cannabis center, or I should say will I ever be done. With a lot of my personal “stuff” is stuff in process, this is to mean I need some stuff, I make some stuff. I use some stuff, some stuff gets modified, some stuff gets appropriated for the current project. I took some pictures along the way, this was a full tear down refurb, repaint job so far. I have several infrastructure upgrades to perform on the cannabis center as well as the basic fitting out of the drawers. The base coat paint was an black oil based enamel. The spatter is red, yellow, orange, blue, green, white acrylic. Inside was painted black, some spatter infiltrated the drawer bottoms. My father-in-laws old Snap On tool box, may it live in infamy. So, I started carrying my purse back in March. I haven’t left it anyplace and I do like having stuff always with me, it’s kind o Boy Scout thingy be prepared. With everything I call mine, I make them mine. here is the current man purse up date here is more pics

My bad / life happens

So kids, a lot went on from April until today, well today is the day I attempt to bring you all up to speed. Just to let everyone know nothing terrible happened just some uncertainty in the current living location. The big issue for me as a maker was I had a very limited outlet for my skills. I did produce some kool hippy shit and I will give it to you all in order. Peace

Change

So I understand that change is hard, sometimes real hard for people. I personally like change in somethings and somethings I would prefer that they stay static. Well guess what, very little stays the same and usually nothing lasts for ever. I like change, it helps with my creativity. Changing personal perspectives involving perceptions and artistic tastes is growth. I’m here to grow 24/7 working 7 days a week makes it reality.

Greetings and salutations

This is my standard greeting to other humans in public, “greetings and salutations” my standard response to how are you is “absolutely fantastic thank you”. Now when both of these incredibly well crafted social interaction phrases are used in conjunction, they almost always elicits more genuine responses from the recipient. Just to make it clear I am 6 foot tall weigh about 175 have short white hair and in public I always have a black bowler hat on and a tie die shirt, hoody. I stick out in public, people remember me, when my bride Ms. Vickie accompanies me in public wearing the company uniform (tie dye) we always get surprised reactions and complements. so stay weird. thoughts on 4/20

So kids, I make and sell several kinds of weed smoking paraphernalia. Now mind you I have never described my stuff as Tabaco smoking stuff, my stuff is unabashedly used for the consumption of marijuana. This undertaking is completely legal and I sell a ton of stuff at flea markets. I sell bongs made from repurposed glass and ceramic, pipes made from rocks from the Salt river in AZ. stash and caries from copper pipe, bong pokers, and several other items that simplify the weed smoking experience.  I have been doing bongs for 5 years I have priced these devices from stupid high in the past, I sell most of these devices for $20 . I sell Salt river stoned pipes for $20-$30, I sell Wizard pipes for $30.  This cash and carry prices at flea markets.

There are several enterprising folks who do the same thing I do but only sell online typical prices run from $120 all the way up to over $300.  I’m not knocking those people, I just come from a place and time of simple is better and marking stuff up over 500% of cost is excessive and price gouging in my world. I sell local and the collage kids love my prices (i’m somewhat of a thing at ASU).

I have ran into a number of new devices being marketed to the users of weed that purport to making your experience easier faster better. These beautifully manufactured devices will set you back at least $100 or more and usually provide a single benefit. I ran into a Kickstarter joint rolling machine as big as a coffee maker and priced over $100. I can roll a joint with 2 hands and a dollar bill, I have a cone packer also pretty cheap. Again lets complicate an antient ritual with modern devices and high prices, its the American way. Peace 

The battle of the hair

So kids, I’m 68 this year, my hair on my head is grey/white at 30, Thanks mom, but i still have full head of hair. I was in Jr high in 68-69 my hair was fairly long. Back then in sports you had to cut hair and shave face hair, I had both. I managed several colors of hair and lengths in high school but lived by the mantra of "Oh say can you see/ My eyes if you can/Then my hair’s too short!"(Hair).

So here we are 50+ years latter and I can let hair grow anyplace I want and believe me when I say it does. I have gone to shaving my head. Now I have not yet taken a razer to it I do use hair trimers with no guards. Lately my mind has wondered back to hair gone by and the thought starts you can let it grow. Now mind you shaved is like zero upkeep between shaves (yes I shampoo daily). I’m not sure at this time in my life I really want to be one of “those Guys” (thinning hair scraggly beard guys), not a good look.

So in the vain of been there done that long hair is in the past, maybe a razer is the next level. Peace
